In his 32 years as a marketing professional, business owner & entrepreneur & having worked on projects all over the world… James has acquired a distinctly strategic perspective that he brings to upcoming speaking engagements. This results in heightened relevance for attendees.

Meet James

Beginning at the bottom as a production assistant on a television set, at 23, James learned every aspect of the industry from the ground up. Within 5 years he was a producer and directed his first commercial in his 7th year. He crossed over from production to the agency side and has worked with Zentropy Partners, McCann Erickson & WeMedia, where he produced the 2001 Paralympics in Australia. 

As a producer, he has teamed with some of the best agencies throughout the world, from international clients to local ones. The majority of his career prior to MVA was in the national market where he produced many national commercials. Some of his favorites include: Meineke Muffler, Crunch Fitness, InStyle Magazine, Kozmo.com, TeenPeople and Olive Garden. He has also produced films independently. A film he produced and assistant directed in 1999, called “A Cup of Coffee”, won the NY film festival for Best Comedy. 

James is currently focusing his creative energy and experience of over 25 years into building Media Vision Advertising, based in Campbell Hall. They are an 8 yr young marketing and advertising firm. James’ greatest “business joy” is rising to the ever-present challenges this economy brings. 

He’s lectured at universities and businesses on various topics related to Marketing, Sales, Ethics in Business and also Improving the Non-profit Model.  He also was heard doing marketing tips weekly for a business radio show called Entrepreneurial Excellence.  

James sits on the board of directors of 4 companies and also volunteers his time with numerous causes. In his spare time… he has 3 books in development as well.
